what is the difference between a 12v and 24v block?...just the block not the timing cover or anything

As far as I know, and looked into, the 24 valve block has an optional second oil return spot for the turbo on the right hand side.

thanks ra i bought a mexy block and wasnt 100% on it being a 24v.

98' 12v use the same black as the 24v with the two oil return lines, only one being used from factory of course.
