Well i got a 98 Gmc 2500 and it needs Front Brakes, i don't what the rear drums are like but will change front and rear just to start fresh.

Been looking at brakes and Good Lord there are hundreds of them you got your green ones and organic ones (what ever the hell there are) and ones that are 300 a pair down to 10 a pair now all i know is i am not going to buy $10 brakes but i am also not going to fork out $300.

My Question is what Brake pads/Shoes should i get, i don't do any heavy towing but want them to last longer then 6 months rather get one good set then 2 crap ones.
