My truck is bone stock other than the K and N filter, been thinking about the delete kits.. how much power will the stock tranny hold up to? I pull a 19ft ski boat on the weekends other wise shes empty.

 

You probably should tell us if you have an automatic or a stick. Either way a 19ft. ski boat is not a real factor for these trucks.

 

I have heard they can take up to 700hp. I cant confirm that tho.

 

You can brake a manual trans at around 700 hp. I did anyways, but I weighed around 45000 pounds. Stock clutch wont take to much over stock tho

I know guys that pull 40K with there auto's with the 6.7 stock. And none of them has had a problem, but they are at stock power.

I have a H&S on my truck and tow heavy a lot and I havent had any trouble, but I havent put a lot of miles on either. I traded my 2010 off at 34,000 and I only have 12,000 on my 2012.

 

oops, yeah i have the Auto 6 speed.
Just curious about the delete stuff, I dont want to go crazy with power, shes got good mustard under the hood already, maybe just a nice bump in mileage?
