Default want to buy megacab

Hey Guys I am a 12v guy but I came across a 09 megacab 3500 laramie at 93k miles with all the trimmings at what I think is a good price they are asking 29000 for it. already has a "Mini max" tuner so I am assuming all the deletes have been done. leather seats, sunroof, wood trim etc I am wondering is this a good deal or not? and what are some things I should be looking at? any help so I can make an informed buy would be appreciated!

Miles are about 3x what they ahould be, i think there asking to much personally.check the fluids air filter, braking. Check the turbo for shaft play.

I bought my 07 megacab new modified it myself never a problem with headbolts but I didn't buy it to hotrod it if you plan on adding tons of torque then change headbolts. Find out what the truck was used for being deleted and programmed already id be a little skeptical.27 is not bad it never hurts to offer less maybe 25.I've learned allot about the 6.7 over the years.feel free to pm me if you have any more questions id be glad to help.

thank you for the input yeah I got the 12v down to science but know next to nothing about the 6.7 and frankly all I heard about them was bad. from the way this truck looks and the look of the ball I would say it was used to pull a horse trailer around to rodeos and such paint and interior are imaculate. just the high milage but up here that norm nothing is close each other. any mods I would what do would be to make it run more effiencly. the main thing is some of the weak points of the 6.7 the 5.9 12v does have a few that minor mods can fix what are some with the 6.7? etc this truck does have an auto which my 12v does I know it is a different tranny but am going to have upgrade the hell out of it like I did my other just to get it drivable if so how ? what are these deletes that are talked about. more or less I need to know everything. I like the Megacab and it's roomy space and will probably get one prefer the 5.9 which is what i know but more than likely will end up with a 6.7

Get rid of the ccv filter its at the top pf the valve cover and routes oil vapors pre turbo on your intake causing oil build up in your turbo. Very easy fix just add vent tube like your 12v has.make sure it has a good intake delete everything from the turbo back depending on your emission laws ware you live.get a good economic tuner not a race tuner.I get about 20mpg with my smarty jr with 35s

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

BF makes a pressure lock device for the tranny witch reduces pressure buildup at acceleration you can look it up and get more info on that.that's all most people do unless you are gonna work it hard then id get suncoast or ats to rebuild it.
