Been working on this for a few days now. Originally was driving on the freeway for a while. got off the freeway and it lost all its power. sputtered out and died with no luck restarting. Pulled the fual pump and it was toast so i replaced it and it ran fine. now again today im driving down the freeway(only the 2nd time) get the truck off the freeway again and she just dies out when you put it in gear. Work truck so any help would be great.

 

Could be sucking air,does it surge at all?

Plugged fuel filter?
