you can try your luck with a 4k GSK...

but i suggest getting #60 valvesprings while you're at it...

it isn't as hard as you might think to replace these parts on your truck, a friend of mine did it without removing his head...

but i strongly suggest a new clutch, what are your plans for the truck ?

what you do is get you some harnesses and strap some Clydesdales to the front of that bad boy!

long term plan is to build it completely and shoot for around 600hp but until funds aremore plentiful i want it to run as good as possible without destroying parts

600hp (not WHP) is possible with a stock motor and a good set of twins, good injectors and timing... without destroying parts... you might pop your headgasket.... but then you just install studs and a stronger gasket

do you think 18 to 20*, 5x018's, hx35 over s400, SBDD, and arp studs and a thicker head gasket would get me there?

the HX35 is not really a good "over" turbo, i replaced my HX35 for a HX40 because it would have caused drive pressure problems...

You shouldn't have too much trouble obtaining a HX40, i'm running a HX60 under it, that with 4k GSK, #60 Valvesprings, 5x.018s, SBDD, ARP studs and a thicker gasket... and 22,5° timing... should put you in the safe ~750hp zone... and be streetable...

For 600hp. a 62/65 and a S475 will get you there and past if you want. A set of 5X0.016s will also get you there but it will be easier to get there with some 5X.018s. And the 5X.018s will leave you more room to grow. I would highly advise studs and a 4K GSK along with valve springs and a good lift pump. I would look at an Aeromotive A1000.
