Default perform service indicator?

My perform service indicator came on on my overhead.meaning cleaning egr or crankcase filter.I know its not my egr cooler cuz I removed it.whernie is the crankcase filter and how do you change it? Also how do you clear that alert off my overhead?thanks for any advice.

Crankcase filter is right underneath the valve cover. As far as clearing the message, I have no idea. But if you're already deleted then I would think about deleting the CCV so this doesn't happen again!

Why wouldn't you? It vents into the intake pre turbo and has been known to cause an oily buildup on the compressor wheel. Mine is gone, re-routed to an open filter without any issues.

OK when you said delete it I thought you meant to plug it off, yea I agree I wouldn't want it vented into the intake.

I just looked at that kit.can you run that kit without the expensive ccv filter?

Clearing message turn key on do not start engine step on brake twice then depress accelerator twice in less than ten seconds.turn key off and run around the truck two times..I just threw that last part in

You forgot the push ups . Yes you gut the old filter when you install the open breather.

allright im not the brightest knife or sharpest bulb in a box of whicky/wacks but are you saying i can toss the ccv filter because i got rid of egr/cooler?
