1995 f250 4x4 7.3L 5 speed. Almost shuts down randomly. Generally at extended idle or running constant rpm for several minutes at a time. Sometimes stalls completely, usually just extreme low rpm and then come back. Any advice please....

 

Same year, same issue. Started out randomly now it's consistent. Any resolve? I'm lost.

 

does it sound like its running on 4 cylinders

 

we had a AG truck that did that. I think it ended up being the cam or crank sensor. just a suggestion.

 

i had the same prob on my 95 and it was a camshaft possition sensor there 28 bucks i would start there
