Default Resetting taps?

Im looking at buying a trandgo jr kit for my truck and a guy told me to have my TAPs reset after i install. What is this and how do i reset it? i have never heard of this and would like some clarity before i buy the kit.

I can reset it with EFI live, im not entirely sure how else to do it

TAPS is the automatic learning of the allison, when you reset it, the transmission goes into "quick learn" mode, you can then do a few runs of 0-60mph at 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full throttle and it helps the allison learn how to deal with the torque output of the engine

it just takes longer for the transmission to adjust, as long as you dont beat it really hard for a week or two it should be fine
