A 90 weight gear lube is the about the same viscosity of a 50 weight motor oil. They just number them in different ranges to avoid confusion between the two.

I pulled the rear cover to do this, but on the front I wasn't goin through all the work. I just sucked out all the fluid I could. Then jacked one side and let it sit for an hour or so to let the fluid drain out of the axle housing, then did the same thing to the other side. Then pulled out what had accumulated and put the new in. Without looking I think it was my trac bar that was in the way and I didn't feeel like pullin it all apart.
