Aux tank

L shape is the normal. u will need a nipple then a 90 and then another nipple and then a shut off valve and then two barbed brass nipples just alike then you will need a hose and 2 clamps set your tank towards the front of the bed. Its best to have a bed liner or a rubber mat under it. you will have to drill 2 holes in the bed to secure it and do not tighten the bolts just leave 1/4 in clearance with big flat washers on both sides and a lock nut on both bolts then drill a hole a little bit bigger than your hose to go thru your bed under your truck to the filler neck. wait till you have it mounted and fittings all together before u drill hole for the line to go thru and wrap another piece of hose around the hose where it goes thru the bed to prevent it from being cut from rubbing. There are several ways to connect it into the filler neck. one is thru the return line which is the small line going to the filler neck. the other is to drill a hole in the filler neck the size of the 2nd brass fitting you bought and the threaded end needs to go in the neck so the barbs are out so you can connect ur hose to it from the aux tank. the fitting will have to be brazed in to the neck. So undo the screws that hold the neck to the body and loosen the 2 clamps that hold it to the hoses and pull it out. take it to a welding shop and have them braze it in unless u can do it yourself. u want it to be as low as you can get it. so where the hose stops would be where you want to put it. because if you dont put it low it will keep fuel in the tank because the fitting was put in too high. it works on a siphon.
