That should work.... I have a raptor150 on my truck along with a 2 micron filter from GDP along with the big line kit. the raptor150 also came with 1/2" lines

Default WMO Update

Sounds about right. Still running WMO in my 90 Cummins with no negative effects so far. I have started thinning it out a little since the last post (Michigan winters). I actually pulled my injectors out recently and was looking for excessive build up and found that after 300,000 miles things were actually pretty normal. I replaced the stock injectors with 370's and am continuing to run WMO as the supply is plentiful. I would love to get a centrifuge...but for now...things are working great!

BTW...has anyone ever thought about/tried using one of the centrifuges off from a piece of heavy equipment? Id be interested to hear about it....

i used to run it unfiltered... just strip it off the engine, or pump it from the waste oil tank @ the shop... dump it in the tank and run it.... never had any problems that way... stock LP and stock filtering system... i've even ran it 100% WMO/WTF/Hydraulic Fluid...

Will not with my rebuilt stuff, i even cleaned out the tank to make sure my stuff will run 100% smooth...

I have been burning WVO blended with gasoline at 20% in my 1983 G-20 van with a 6.2l Detroit Diesel engine in it and filtered down to 1-micorn through a bag filter. Last year I picked up a centrifuge and find it still finds something to pull out of my fuel, so I am happy with that process and it has worked fine with some valuable learning experiences along the way.

However, after spending 6 years doing back flips to get WMO to burn on that engine without coking tis injectors I have given up on filtering WMO. I am now distilling it, and it runs fine on my engine, and even blends with WVO with no problem.

I am very curious about this distilling. I've had a hard time finding info on how to build one

My forum Pyrolysis of Hydrocarbons has a whole section on it, with several contributors who are actively making pyrolysis units for mostly distilling WMO, but we are also interested in using the same process to crack plastics back to their original petroleum base, as well as to extract the volatiles from wood in a much more efficient way than the wood-gas folks are doing.

I have ran WMO blended with gas... kerosene... #2 home heating oil.. diesel... for thousands of miles in 24 valve dodges (ratios of about 50-60% WMO).. 12 valve dodges (smokes like a freight train... ratios about 60-70% fuel "heat" or viscosity is biggest factor here)... and currently 7.3 powerstroke (ratios of up to 85%... ran the most through this 10,000 + miles... fuel filter is a factory heater on top of motor to thin the mix before it goes in)

settled for a few days... centrifudged couple three times

Presumably, if you are running WMO at 85%, then you are blending it with gasoline, not diesel fuel. Most WMO burners I know get themselves banned from alternative diesel fuel forums. The Diesel Stop, Power Stroke Nations, and powerstroke.org have all flamed and banned anyone who blends gasoline with any waste oil, or advocates burning WMO.

I ran a full tank of cod liver oil the other day...

Ran fine, even smoothed out the famous "cummins rattle"

drug-store shelf price of that tank of fuel would have been about $3000 hahaha
