Well I know that gasoline wouldn't ever go near the tank on my dodge.

So it turns out valvoline says about 15 percent of new oil is additives. When they re-refine the motor oil for use as a motor oil they remove that 15 percent plus another 5-7 percent of water. Most of the centrifuges I see only remove a pint (if that) of gunk and water for every 20 gallons they filter. Same with the 1 micron filters. Im sure you can burn alot of the additives and be fine, but 5-7 percent water? And only a tiny bit of gunk taken out of so much oil? That crap has to be building up somewhere.

Difference is:
One fluid is designed to lubricate,to withstand high heat conditions, not to burn.

other difference is:
Some people must burn it because they lack the money to buy pure diesel or, which is an important factor, they can't get clean diesel- it is already mixed with WMO at the fuel station.
I have seen that by myself so many times in africa.

We happily live in countries were we can get clean diesel- and we dilute it by ourselves?
Sorry, I invested a bunch of money into the diesel, which is more expensive than a gasser, why I should try to ruin it with a non appropiate fuel?
Just to save a couple of dimes?

If oil is so bad for injectors, could someone please explain to me how powerstroke injectors work, again?

I could take pictures of any damaged internal engine component I please and make the same claim. You are going to have to include a cite for the original reference to the story behind the pictures to gain any credibility here. This is a popular fallacious debating technique known as the "doesn't follow fallacy." Example: My grandad died yesterday. He was taking aspirin. Aspirin must have killed him. Doesn't follow - any of a hundred other factors could have been the culprit unless the autopsy proves it.

Lots of things cause wear in diesel fuel systems. Water is the biggest killer in modern high pressure components. Both my truck are running better than ever now with WMO adds for 4 and 5 years now.

How long is it supposed to take for this damage to manifest, stinkr?

I hope it's not too late...

i think it is a lot more then a couple of dimes. it cost me over $100 to fill my tank

20 fill ups would easily cover the cost of injectors and another 5 could get me a CP3.

i could do this in one year. anything over this in money in my pocket
