I run the Diesel Fuel Supplement+Cetane Boost just to help with lubricating my injection pump on my old IDI. It wasn't made for this ULSD so it offers me piece of mind, at the very least. I did notice a little more get up and go and the truck seems to run a little smoother when I use it regularly.

You are correct that its of no use to those like you who have a 6.7L engine with all of its smog junk, but in 2004 and older 5.9L engines 2 cycle oil does help.

You have a lot more to learn grass hopper...

I was running acetone in my 7.3, I would put 2OZ. of acetone for 10 gallons of diesel, it was suppose to give me better MPG as per and article I read

Tried cetane booster- had no positve effects.
Because our diesel fuel already has 51 cetane as lowest standard and 60 cetane as ultimate diesel.
Depends what you are willing to spend - price difference is 15 US cent per liter.

I use Lubromoly diesel injector cleaner every 1000miles. 2 stroke every fill up.
2 stroke does not give any mpg to me. I add it only as a very good and noticeable lubricant.

I never would use acetone- it is a very strong degreaser and solvent.

I try to use the diesel kleen every tank. run the white bottle in the winter and the gray bottle in the summer. Use the 2 Stroke oil anything to help my pump to stay Lubed up.
dont really see the MPG gain but then again 19 is great in a 1 ton.
