Fuel prices are actually the main reason CPI is sky high, wich makes everything harder, mortgages and food become more expensive and even the equipment and automotive loans are all CPI dependent...
it's not really the price of the fuel itself that has the most effect sine the government is pulling in 74% of the price into road and safety taxes wich never end up going to the correct places....
Iceland has an incredibly corrupt government.... and no habitant of this country really has anything to say about it, Majority of the population dont want to join the EU, but they've already started to prepare for all the chapters needed to apply for internship...
