Default seafoam added to oil?

i was reading on a can of seafoam that you can add it to the oil and it helps keep things cleaned up inside the engine. just wandering if this is a good idea.

I don’t think you should drive it after it’s been added. Come home with it hot add it and let it idle for 20 and then drain the oil right away.

It’s some good stuff.

When your ready to do an oil change, dump a can in and drive it around the block and then park it and change the oil and yes it does wonders. But don;t drive any farther then that or let the truck run any longer then that. It works well and will heat up fast and spin bearings if you let it go to long.

It also works well in the fuel but pour it into the tank. When you change the fuel filter, refill the canister with a can of Sea Foam and fire the truck up. Doing it this way runs it all through within seconds and doesn't have time to dry seals and kill the lubricity of the entire tank of fuel.
