We need to drill in ANWAR and off the coasts (EAST and WEST). The treehuggers are telling us not to drill off of FL, but cuba is and noone is telling them they cant... The tree huggers need to go to cuba for an attitude adjustment...

So some of you think drilling ANWAR will help up out I don't think so. Read the info at the below URL's. Also for those who go to Mexico to buy diesel look at he last URL to see how many thousands of barrels of diesel we export to them every month and yet you can buy it in Mexico for less then $2.50 a gallon. Please note the numbers listed are in thousands of barrels per day not per month.

Here is a URL that shows how many thousands of barrels of oil and oil related products like gas and diesel we export every day to other countries" U.S. Exports of Crude Oil and Petroleum Products

This URL shows who we export our crude oil products to each day like Venezuela :Total Crude Oil and Products Exports by Destination

Goldman Sachs is stirrin it up

The move in the energy complex was being influenced by a report from Goldman, which lifted its projection for oil prices in the latter half of this year. Because of expected tight supplies, in part driven by demand from China in the aftermath of this week's earthquake, the firm is predicting oil will average $141 a barrel in the last six months of 2008, up from its old forecast of $107.

Simply put the idiot green governments need to understand that North America needs to be energy sufficient - not dependant.

Take British Columbia for example - we have loads of opportunity for wind power, tidal power, hydro power, oil and gas, bio mass and even land fill cogeneration BUT very little of this is done to the point where the existing aging infrastructure is failing and we need to purchase power from Alberta and Washington State because the twits in Victoria (Capital City) just don't get it. There are so many projects specific groups want to do but when the greenies get wind of it (no pun intended) it quickly dies. Well the power and fuel has got to come from somewhere - why not locally?

End of rant.

PS: Diesel $1.359 to $1.439 a LITRE here now = $5.14 to $5.45 PER GALLON!!

This Oil Move Is for Real

By Jim Cramer

It doesn't stop. I hear about less gasoline use. I hear about big alternatives to energy. I hear about mass transit. They are meaningless to oil. Far more important to oil is the Petrobras decision to try to glom onto 80% of the world's rigs. That's a killer. No one else can drill deep if they do that. Plus, the cost of drilling is monumental now. Meanwhile, in the political landscape, we worry about the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, not drilling offshore where there is lots of oil and gas. We worry about taxing oil companies' windfalls, not encouraging them to drill year-round. And the result? Look at your screen. There is still, even at these prices, no marginal oil available. As an aside, why don't all the pundits ask the speculators to sell us some? They are sure to replace it with drilling.

The possibility of increased Chinese demand for diesel fuel to power generators in the wake of this week's earthquake was cited as one reason for Friday's rise
