I run 15w40, ran Rotella for quite awhile but switched to Amsoil HD Diesel and Marine oil lately.

Yeah, I am an Amsoil Nut and a Diesel Nut.

In my truck, I am using the Amsoil 5W-30 Heavy Duty Diesel oil. Little better mileage, easier starts, high film strength for all that power.

As for most other drivers, I usually recommend Amsoil's 15W40.

Rick will be on a bypass filter and 15k filter changes soon enough. . . . . . .

I usually run Delo 400 15W40. But have recently switched to Exxon/Esso XD-3 0W40 (Group IV synthetic)....mainly for the temperature extremes I see.

I run Castrol 5w-50 full synthetic....change every 5000kms (3000miles). If I am out of town and cant get it then any 15w-40....for me an oilchange sometimes only last me a week or two....

Cen-Pe-Co 15-W-40 is all I run in the truck. Quaker State 10-W-30 in anything else.
