I don't think they make anything besides ashless anymore...

Of course, I didn't think they made anything but unleaded as well.

You can still get low ash oil, but it should be Ashless to reap the full benefit. If it's got any ash in it, it can plug emmision equipment up.

since i just bought my cummins, i havent used any additives
since its a 04.5, its not meant to use ULSD so i gonna use the additive i have here
i forget wat its called

I put the cheapest oil I can find in with my fuel to lubricate the fuel pump.

Default DIESEL ADDITIVES

I had an issue with dumping large amounts of white smoke out of my tailpipe like the video game spy hunter. Ford tells me its normal and no one could ever give me a straight answer. Powerstroke rep told me to start using additives like the one from ford . I started using Power Service and haven't had a problem since Mpg's went up on the hwy 1 or 2 miles

I have been using amsoil for a long time now and like it a lot...order a case every time I run out

Still running 2 cycle oil every tank and my VP44 is closing in on 100K miles (95K miles).
