they were under 2$ a Gallon...

and prior to tax on diesel we had as low as 90c a Gallon, and then we would get taxed for how many km we drove... or they would put a fixed tax you would have to pay each year

 

Yeah, gasoline in Canada is now at $3.40 CDN. This country always gets screwed.

 

Gasoline here is around 4.95 USD / gallon...

and you think you're the ones getting screwed ?

 

The difference is that a mere four hour drive from my house if I go Stateside, I can pay 65% of what I pay here, including the exchange rate.

 

Well, If there's a good reason to live in Canadia diesel fuel prices aint it...

 

nope. Free healthcare, the mountains, and my friends are the three things that keep me where I am. The women ain't so bad either I guess

I'm beginning to believe the only reason diesel isn't less expensive up there is that it would make your country Utopia!

 

Its qroung 2.09 in Amarillo, TX, and finally cheaper than gas(2.12)

 

$2.08 Here... $0.05 cheaper then gas.

 

Well, it would be a cold utopia for half the year!
