The closest I could get to $5.00 a gallon was 4 days ago at $4.69. Now 4 days later it has dropped 10 cents to $4.59. I think when the word got out about the investigation that started 6 months ago in to the price of oil, it sure dropped the price $6.00 plus per barrel and 10+ cents per gallon for diesel.

Diesel dropped yesterday from $5.19 to $5.03 this morning. I had to run some errands in a different town were diesel is usually cheaper. I filled for $5.01 @ the truck stop, got back into town and had dropped to $4.95!

I have to fill tomorrow or the next for sure. It still hasn't bugged from the 1.449/L ($5.45) it was the other day. I hope it comes down - quickly.

That's how it usually goes. Sucks! Highest I have paid was $4.69. The Walmart has it for $4.55 down the road.

Sure, if you need a president of this club I'll take it (up the poop shoot - The cost, you guys, come on...) Cost per barrel goes down and then shoots right back up because the heat is off (again) doing something else. When all eyes are on them the price lowers because the investors get nervous.

It is still around $1.449 here. I filled 125L yesterday at Chevron Bulk so best guess is it cost me about $1.39/L because it is sometimes a little cheaper (then again, sometimes not too.)

Don't get use to the lower prices as oil went up $6.10 a barrel to around $133.00. The only reason it went up is some Wall Street idiot opened his mouth and said he though oil would hit $150.00 a barrel before July 4th and that in turn set off a run up in price.
