Money Official Alternate Fuel Thread, Bio/Veggi

Ok guys & gals lets start talking about alternate fuels for our trucks. Diesel is $5.00+ per gallon in Kali and I hear it's suppose to hit $6.50+ by the end of summer. What are your guys thoughts, plans, game of attack to help out against these ridiculous fuel prices.

I'm personally think'n about a veggi/WVO kit for my 3rd gen.

(Please don't mention/talk about different vehicles/motorcycles etc... that you have, plan on buying to save $$$, only alternate fuel thoughts)

Thanks!

A few of us guys that run diesel in Bozeman are talking about making our own fuel. We just don't know what for sure yet. Maybe a FuelMeister product.

the 55 gallon drum would be the best bet at $4.52 per gallon before shipping costs

I just purchased a home made processor and about 100 gal of WVO - plan to start making my own fuel..

with diesel this high, it only makes sense.. and wanna get to doing it and ****** up as much WVO as possible before everyone and their dog starts doing it.. heck, even if prices go down to $2/gal in the future, i'll still be saving $$$ !

I do'nt want to have to add a WVO system to my truck - plus if I purchase another diesel vehicle, say a VW or other car for my wife, I would have to buy a vegi system for her vehicle also - with bio - i'm all set to run in any vehicle I choose (unless its much older, then need to convert seals and lines) w/o purchasing a $2K-$4K kit and I only paid $400 for my processor/WVO which is about what it would have cost to make my own...
