Hmmm... Nice machining. Very clean, Not sure I like the protrusion either. But to use gravity to get the fuel is a better idea. So I guess my sending unit can stay?

How about an AN tapped version rather then a NPT? I hate hose clamps.

Can a sump stay full like the sending unit does with a Draw Straw V? I would think the sump wouldn't perform as well during extreme cornering with low fuel levels.

You would have to be damn well out of fuel to have an issue with a sump, Draw straws are going to sit about 1/4" off the bottom of the tank, and this is going to sit about 1/4" off the bottom of the tank...

I would think this would be better...

But.... with the FASS/Air Dog return line AND return from the engine filling the basket..... I'm not too sure myself, just have a hunch.

Might have to clean the tank out. I know we can have some really good filtering systems, But you are now pulling fuel from the bottom. Might as well clean out the crud.
