They are a little spendy right now. We need to recoupe some of the R&D costs that went into these. That and the fact that they are all CNC machines instead of cast. they are also coated in a thermal dispersant which allowed us to drop more than 30° off our intake air temps compared to the powder coated version. The thermal dispersant is not cheap. We are retailing them for $730 shipped. The next round will be less because we are going to have them cast instead of machined. But I have 30 of these to get rid of before we even think about starting another batch.

Look forward to seeing your dyno numbers guys looks like a top notch quality product and cheaper isn't always better. People don't realize what r&d cost I know I didn't until we started the build on my truck anyhow very nice guys keep up the good work

Default Dyno numbers in!

So I was down at the shop last night until almost 11:00pm I got to do some testing on this thing.

I ran the truck with the stock intake elbow in the shop. So ambient air temperature was controlled by thermostat. This allowed my to really get some good numbers do to the fact that we had no wind and no pressure or temperature fluctuation like you can get on an outdoor dyno. We ran a big fan in front of the truck to move air across the intercooler to simulate driving about 75mph on a 70° day. Pretty normal driving conditions for most of us.

So this is what the truck has done to it on the first run. Air Dog 150, PDI exhaust manifold, H&S Mini Maxx, H&S rail plug, EGR/Cooler deleted, DPF Deleted & an AFE stage 2 cold air intake.

First run we had 112° intake air temperature at max power, 1450° EGT's at max power and the truck made 433 horse power and 871 foot pounds of torque with the Mini Maxx on setting 2 (wild)

So then the truck was left strapped to the dyno, I uninstalled the stock intake elbow and intercooler pipe. Installed the Passenger Diesel intake elbow and ran the truck again.

It took a while for me to get everything figured out since I am the one writing the install instructions for this elbow I didn't have anything to go off of except common sense. So by the time I got everything buttoned up the Coolant temps were quite a bit lower than the previous run.

So I went for a little drive on the dyno. I drove 65 miles per hour in 5th gear for about 5 minutes until the coolant temps match our stock elbow run.

Same ambient air temperature same dyno same power level on the Mini MAxx but this time using the Passenger intake elbow we saw 52° intake air temperature, 1212° on the EGT's and the truck made 447 horse power and 909 foot pounds of torque.

All in all we got exactly what we were hoping for here. I wasn't expecting huge power gains. But this truck has been running pretty hot for a while now and our real goal was to cool it down. This elbow cooled us down a lot more than I was expecting. I am stoked about the results!

Now I have to fly to Illinois after Christmas and install one of these on a customer's 2010 6.7 I will be dynoing that truck as well!
