Default Kind Of Old News But Ran A 12.9 The Other Day

Ran two 12.9's at Las Vegas Motor Speedway two wednesdays ago. The other truck racing and winning is a good friend of mine Mike Meyers (MMLMM from the DP) and this was his first break into the 12's as well. We just got done putting on a GT4094 from PPE onto his truck a week before. 2nd one in the country at that time. His truck is awesome to say the least

Heres a couple on links

Good to see, congrats. Tell your buddy to hang out over here more often and tell us all about the LMM.

coolvideo,
help me understand, you cant just tromp on it to get instant power, cause it a diesel. So you must haveta start slower and never let off, right?
Mine takes off on the freeway instant power .

Ive done a 360 in mine, all that power, a light box, up a hill..... lucky nobody was coming... and yea i was going to fast, on a corner to boot.....not on purpose either,
Scared the crap outta me... remember that DD?

I havent had it wide open yet, I need a long straight stretch....then i can feel the power.........

You can hold the brake and feed it som gas on the line to get the boost built up at the line... Then hold on!

I will see if I can get him over here. Mike is a enthusiast who has broke boundries, his truck is hand controlled, as he is handicapped from the waist down and rolls in a wheelchair. So cutting 1.749 60' is an awesome feat. His truck was featured in this months (current newstand issue) of Diesel World Magazine titled "Hand Controlled Hauler" at the Crude Drags at Famoso. At that time he only had EFI, Turbo back exhaust, a lift pump, intake, steering upgrades, trans and a fuel rail shim, and his truck was 2 months old. He ran 13.1 there his first time out with the truck, and was the fastest LMM at the track that day. He now has a 4094 Turbo and traction bars so his et's will pick up even more than the 12.7's he is currently running. We have been involved with this truck since it was about 2 weeks old, and it is cool to be a part of. Thanks Mike!
