Ford tractors have alot of power and they are the best in the buisiness for fuel economy.I have a Ford 9700 we also had a Ford 8700 before we traded it that tractor had 11,000hrs.It ran good to.But we traded it for a Ford Tw-15.Which I love that tractor.

got a 1938 Allis Chalmers Model B. love doin wheelies in second gear. my grandpa owns a 1964 Minniepolis Moline Jet Star 3 that we work to death. it has a loader on it.they also have a Bobcat zero radius lawn mower. its not a diesel but the thing has so much torque from the Kohler engine in it that i can do burnouts on the driveway, the only thing i hate about those is it rips up grass if you turn to fast. very fast. dont know about the warranty

First gear is really slow in the B to.Like .75mph.I always wanted to drive the Ford Select-O-Speed transmission but I never got to as we traded our Ford 5000 for a Ford 7710 Series II MFWD.I was like 6 when we sold the 5000.

the select o speed are cool. a guy in our tractor club owns one. he let me drive it at a work day to pull wagons with. the same guy had a stroke so he is thinking about giving me his 1952 Club Cadet he has in his garage to keep since he knows i have a Allis. i feel bad for the guy, he cant do anything now. its so hard for him to move. but he is very in to ford tractors and has a huge collection

Yeah that is unfortionet.Well that sucks I hate to see a Ford tractor collector go down like that. Some Ford tractors were really collectable to.After all Ford introduced the 3pt hitch with Ferguson but still Ford tractors had it first also Ford introduced the first Powershift in the Select-O-Speed transmission. The tractor industry would never have been the same w/o Ford.Allis introduced the Turbo to the industry though so Thank-you Allis.
