1668 IDM comunication issue, open ground to the IDM or other...

0284 is a #8 injector fault

0269 is a #3 injector fault...

The others I dont know what they are. They sound like body codes which I dont have handy.

The two injector faults are pretty typical for the new gray CPS from Ford, do you know if the truck has had the recall done on the CPS'S?

 

Sorry my electrical skills are lacking, can you explain the open ground thing and how i trace it. I dont know if it had the recall done when did that come out? i have owned the truck for about a year and a half.

when i installed the chip i made sure there was nothing on the contacts but it looked like someone had cleaned them previously with a freaking wire brush, could it be possible he destroyed the contact area.

Thank you for the link. That is the first time they have all showed back up since my original post. the only one that shows up consistantly is the p1316
