overhead i believe is calculated off of engine load and adding more to the fueling cycle decreases load read by the comp so always off. Asked Jody awhile ago and he hasn't found a way to compensate for it accurately. Mine will even read over 40 some days.

On my 99 F350 - stock 9-11, dp custom 140 13-14.5, dp eco 15-16
Buddies 07 6.0 w/SCT w/Dp tunes on it - stock 15, hot tune 13-16, eco 17-21 but he always drives it like he stole it.

Light usually means you overboosted according to the map sensor. If you drive normal it should go out after a few miles or if you shut the truck off and restart it. It's nothing to worry about. I believe it comes on if you hit around 25lbs or more of boost.
As far as mpg, I neither saw any gains or loss from my DP tuner. I think I might have gained a little from PHP tunes but not sure cause I have been doing other maint and mods. However I like my PHP tunes much more than DP tunes.
