Default Chip or PCM Issue

I'm going to throw this out there and see what you guys think the issue is here.

I had a TS Chip sent off and flashed with PHP Tunes. My truck is a 99 6spd with PCM code DAC2. I can tell by the power the truck makes that the PCM has some type of current tune loaded but I don't have the tuner to know what it is or whos tunes.

Once I installed the 6pos Chip the truck has less power. No Code still runs smooth just no low end power and very little throttle response. I'm trying to figure out if I have a bad chip or bad PCM.

Honestly, if you just want to pay $200 and be completely done with it, I'd take it up to ford and just have it wiped and flashed, make it like it just rolled off the lot as far as the pcm firmware.

That way you won't be wondering and you can start from a blank canvas. I've heard bully dog programmers almost leave like a lock on it even when you put it back to stock so you can only use your bully dog back on it again.

If the chip is installed correctly(i assume it is), its the tunes. Even if there is a flash program on your pcmcia, the chip overrides that. So what your seeing is the tunes. If you have AE, might do some datalogging and send them to the tuner.

Did the truck run fine before you put the tune on it ? N i had a smarty that wipped out my pcm before so programmers and tunes can do funny things

I had a bully dog programmer on my truck before I purchased my TS chip, and ever since installing the bully dog my trans has never shifted right, and I'm soon to reflash my PCM and reinstall my chip. So I DO NOT RECOMMEND bully dog. I have had constant trans problems.
