Default small and reliability upgrades?

finally got rid of the 5.4L gasser and got a diesel. this is my first one of my own. i learned to drive in a 2000 excursion with the 7.3 so im glad to be back in a diesel.

main specs:
2000 F-250 Supercab 4x4 XLT Shortbed
7.3L diesel 207k miles
BTS Tranny - Installed 20K ago and rebuilt by BTS 3k miles ago due to a shifting problem.
BTS 6 position Tuner (stock, high idle, low tow, high tow, economy, race)
new 6637 air filter
4" MBRP Turbo back exhaust (installed 3k miles ago)
Rubicon Express leveling kit and 1" taller block in the back.
315's BFG AT's (some dry rot) on Excursion wheels (probably going to 305s)
Balljoints replaced 3K miles ago
BD Power X-Monitor
Aux Trans Cooler with built in thermostat and Fan
new warn lockout hubs

my main question is if there is any smaller mods that i should look into to improve on what has already been done to it. it is going to be my DD/ tow rig so reliablility is my number 1 goal. i know i want to add the pre-pump filter kit but what else should i look into? are things like the oil crossover tube or upgraded fuel pressure regulator booster housing worth adding?

thanks

That is what the BD power X-monitor is. It reads boost, EGT, and trans temp.

Not a fan of the BD units but you have it covered...

What are your plans for the truck? That helps with recomending anything so you dont buy it over and over while upgrading.

Plans for the truck are daily driver/ towrig. I run the beltway everyday to work and back so fuel mileage is something to watch. It is also my towrig towing anything from dragging my jeep and gear up the mountains to towing construction equipment. Anywhere from 5k to 12k lbs.

Reliability is my big goal. I do plan to add a few more gauges to help monitor stuff better

Your in really good shape right where you are at...

A 38R turbo would be a nice add, a Fuel system is nice but not needed at stock injectors. Really sounds like you have a nice set up truck.

Simple things like a high pressure oil crossover and maybe fuel crossover.

cool thanks guys. im really happy with how the truck runs so far for the 4 times that i have got to drive it the BTS trans is a ton better that the stock one that was in the excursion. should have full tags on the truck on tuesday then the real fun can begin.

parts list to order:
pre-pump filter kit
HPO crossover
regulated return fuel crossover
crankcase vent kit
intercooler boots (stock ones are very oily and look rough)
pre-filter for the 6637 air filter
dash cluster gauge pods with water and oil temp gauges

i dont think that list is too bad. im sure it will grow as parts wear out. my dad thinks i should add a meth injection system to help keep the EGTs down while towing in the summer but im gonna wait till spring when the weather warms up to see how it runs.
