so i blew another hpop line seal where it connects to the hpop, this is the 3rd time in about a year!!! does someone know why i keep blowing the seals out!?!?!?!? its really frustrating and cost money!!! someone help!!

When you say line seal do you mean the oring under the fitting that goes onto the pump? Have you been replacing properly by cleaning out the port and using the correct loctite and oring?

 

yes the oring on the fitting that screw into the pump, and yes i went to the dealer and got the orings from them and used the loctite that came with them,

 

try and be sure to not over tighten it, i did that on a buddy's and it pinched the o-ring and blew it out, lesson learned there

 

okay, i did some reading read that the orings from ford are not up to par for the pump, and Replacement O-rings for Ford Diesel Engines has all the orings for the hpop for like $13, i didnt know if it was because i have a chip and the pump wasnt keeping up with the pressure and the build up pressure blew the orings???
