OK I'm looking at two cold air intakes one is AFE stage 2 battery relocating tray pro 5 oil filter or the S&B cold air intake

AFE Cold Air Intake System Stage 2 Ford Super Duty Trucks 99-03 V8-7.3L Turbo Diesel Power Stroke 54-10192 - aFe Power

S&B Intake w/ Cleanable Filter

Which one do y'all think?

Is the afe 200% over stock really going to make that much of a difference?
My plan is 400 to 500 hp for the truck.
thanks!

I like these. I want one for my cummins. My bud had one on his 04 and that was a sweet looking and sounding filter set up. Best part is the filter is a dry filter ie. no oil!!!!

I do NOT like Dry filters... I have seen too many dusted air intake tracks to run one... Honesty, there all about the same, none will stand out above the other one in HP or anything.

K thanks that's what I wanted to know so just cuz one say it flows more doesn't really mean much? There all going to give about the same HP?

Don't pick an intake hoping to gain whatever hp it states on the box... You won't get that.

S&B AFE and such all will flow more air then your truck can injest.

Even a Tymar is a great set up.

If that's your plan, you have bigger fish to fry like PMR's...
