40psi before you blow your head gaskets.

You have several things you need to think about first...

1. budget

2. use of the truck

3. risk you are willing to take

4. area you live...

You have PMR's (powdered metal rods)... they are weaker then Forged rods found in earlier trucks.

What do you use the truck for? towing? Racing? Daily driver?

What kind of risk are you willing to take? Do you like to walk? Do you have a second rig? You need this truck for work?

Do you live somewhere that required emission testing or have alot of smoke police?

i don't want to spend a bunch on turbo, right around 1800 is max, its a daily driver, towing is pretty rare, i'm willing to take some what of a risk but nothin extreme, and smoke isn't an issue here

$1800 bucks...

You dont say if you have gauges... I will assume yes, as that should be the first mod...

Your not ready for injectors, and really dont have enough to do it right anyway...

I would go for a GTP-38r turbo with a 1.15 exhaust housing... Not going to gain you much HP, maybe 50... but it will give you a building block for some more later on.

As I have said before, your not far from Wide Open Performance, stop by and talk to those guys. They will get you on the right track...
