when i get on it for more than a few seconds my engine light comes on and i read somewhere if the ses light comes on while your at 25-26 lbs of boost the engine defuels and i was wondering if the ses light and the check engine light could be the same thing

 

Depends... you need to check the codes... It could be a ICP issue or it could be an overboost.

What mods are you running?

 

banks transcommand and a banks six position chip...and i was looking up a part that would keep that light from coming on so the engine wouldnt defuel...how do i check the codes?

and i have an afe air intake and stacks n lift n tires if that makes a defference

 

i'm sure its just an over boost, your chip should read the diagnostics, it would either be under read DTC's or just diagnostics, your code will most likely be a p1211 if i remember right?
