Seriously??? I didn't even think that was possible...

So, are you saying that the yolk at the end of the intermediate driveshaft is hitting the cab floor? Or is your carrier bearing between the two shafts loose? Are you sure it's the driveshaft doing it, or is something binding up elsewhere...

yeah the yolk you can see thats whats hittin n yeah the carrior bearing holder has a spacer thats drops it down n its kinda flimsy but not that bad i might try to stiffin that up a bit and the dearing is fine but i dont think thats the prob..the only thing i can think is possibly motor mounts?...beacuse its movin like 2 er 2 n half inches..i dont know what else to check

i would look into your motor mounts, tranny mounts, and carrier bearing. thats a very odd problem

I had that happen in my 91. The tranny mount had broken itself from the case and whenever I got on it, it would pivot off to the side while lifting up, this caused the drive shaft to angle into the gas tank skid plate and the intermediate shaft to allow the yoke to hit the floor.

Carrier bearing was also going out but it was mostly the tranny mount being broken.

I can not see how that would happen... It would have to come completely loose to hit the floor boards...
