unfortunately, having someone do it for me as I definatley don't have the tools to get it done on my own.... gonna be a b***h trying to figure out how to get it out of the bed of my truck at home!!

but at least with the used tranny, it'll be up and running again and hopefully stay that way until we can afford to get a built one!

I bought my 00 in 05 with 83k it now has 122k. In that time span i have gone through a 2nd gear in my tranny.. A turbo, CPS, and now im pulling the motor because my #8 cylinder isnt holding any compression haha overall i still love the truck but goddamn

my dad and I got a 99 f250 with 225k on it and put a new trany in it, glowplug relay, and are about to put a Hpop seal kit in it all within a little while. on the other hand my dad had a 99 f350 chiped it and lifted it and never had a problem and sold it at 250k miles or somewhere around there. so im realizing that it depends on how well you take care of your truck that makes the biggest impact on the 7.3l
