Question Fuel System Upgrade Questions

I posted this on powerstroke.org but I'm not getting any answers so I figured I'd try here..

I'm in college and try to work on my truck a little bit every summer while I'm making money.
I'm planning fairly big, Swamps 250/200's next year and an H2e after that so I'm trying to complete it one piece at a time in a logical order including other supporting mods so I can still be able to keep using it as a daily driver.

Since I'm rolling over 300k in the next few weeks I thought it would be a good time as any to work on my fuel system.

I'm thinking a Diesel Site's CPR system and an AirDog II...

What do you guys think? Is anybody running something similar?

Will I need a sump?

What kind of injectors are you guys running with a RR or aftermarket pump?

Any Ideas are appreciated.
Thanks, THE1LAF

get either irates or sticklys regulated return kit and a walbro pump. you dont need the airdog. a sump is nice but not needed, you can also do a 5/8" pickup tube and bigger lines to the pump.

right now im running a stock SD pump and 300/100s i have a full 5/8" line system with an areomotive A1000 pump to go in once i get my pickup back

What type of fuel filters would be on that system? I don't see one with the RR's or the pumps.

Ok, I'm already using baldwin filters for my oil so that works. Are you running one of these? another point i'm worried about is gelling, DieselSite's said it ran close enough to the head it wouldn't gel, have you had any experience with that in these systems?

I'm running 75% of an irate kit. I had made my own then bought everything from the filters to the engine to clean it up. I have not had any problems with mine and it gets kinda cold here

That's good, I'll probably go with the Irate DIY pump, Regulated Return, and Sinister Diesel Sump. That's about $700 less than what I was looking at..(MKMcustoms.com) I'm sure I'll need some fuel line but that'll be fairly cheap.

What do you think of that?

Sounds like a good setup. Irate sells the alligator sump. That one doesn't require dropping the fuel tank to install
