Dan is a great wealth of knowledge when it comes to the fuel systems of these diesel trucks. Kudos to him for his efforts!

 

well i did my VERY FIRST VP44 replacement today. i watched these video's wednesday and this guy definately knows what he is doing..... it took me right at 2 hours from start to first busting it off after bleeding the system...... one thing i used different than he did was a small steering wheel puller for the pump gear..... i used the short intake bolts to attach it..... other than that i went by his directions and it was a breeze.....

 

good job stud.................just FYI the pump gear puller is the same one ya use on a p-7100 pump.


they are also very easy to make..................just a strongback with a couple holes in it

 

looks good i ll have to remember this if i ever got to do one.
