Default Edge cs Monitor

Instead of getting gauges i've been thinkin of just getting a edge cs. Not the chip, just the monitor. My buddy has the edge cs (chipped version) on his 6.0 and another has it on his 5.9. Both really like the unit and all the Gauges it has on screen. So is it worth it? or even possible? i know you cant stack chips or what have you on a 7.3 but maybe you can do this?

Edge Insight is what your after, I believe.

I have one on my 2006 F550 with 6.0L service truck. Cost a little extra to get the packages to have pyro, but worth every penny to watch what is going on.

Yeah the insight is right. It does sound like a good deal I just don't know if you can run a ts chip and a insight.

I don't see why not. Looks like the chip connects to your computer, and the Insight will connect to your OBDII connector.

As long as it works with the OBS truck and plugs into the OBDII port, you can run it with your chip because your chip attaches on the PCM itself... The OBDII port will still be available with a TS chip. For example, I can leave my chip in, plug my AE into the OBDII port and get diagnostics from the PCM...

if you are just using it for gauges then you should be able to run a chip too.
