Default Bought my OBS powerstroke!! Lovin it!!

As some of you may know, I had my eye out on an OBS psd that the guy was holding onto for me for the past 3 months or so.. I finally picked it up and I'm in love.

So here's a run down.

1997 F250, 6" lift, 33" Cooper Discovery ? tires, rebuilt auto, TONS of new parts including injectors, extended cab long bed. Same owner has had it since 67k miles, and it now has 240k miles. Truck starts SO easy, pulls hard as HELL, etc.

Ok, so apparently this truck has NO abs? Wtf??

This truck feels just as fast as my 1999.5 6spd PSD with 130k miles... maybe I'm imagining things, but I bet it would give my stock '99.5 a run for its money!

This truck is WAY faster and a MUCH better truck overall than my 12v cummins 5spd was stock. Sweet!!!

When I first bought the truck, putting the truck in neutral and revving it seemed sluggish. It would toss clouds of oil-smoke also. Plus, at about 2700rpms, it would seem to hang, then it would slowly climb to 3,000rpms. Very smokey.

So I came to the conclusion that the prior owner babied the SH*T out of this truck, and it needs to be ran out real good.

So after running it out hard all day, there is NO more oil smoke. Today I put half a bottle of diesel kleen into only a few gallons of diesel and I ran the sh*t outta it. After a few miles, the truck wouldnt' smoke at ALL, it idled better, accelerated better, and overall ran better. Before all this, I think the truck shifted at like 3000rpms or 3100rpms and it seemed sketchy; throttle response was a bit funky. AFter the diesel kleen and running it out, the truck shifts about 3400rpms and it feels strong as hell. Throttle is very crisp now and very responsive.

The only real downside right now is, the heater controls only work on fan full-blast.

Besides this, I'm absolutely loving the truck. I cant wait to do my intake and exhaust then in a few weeks my tuner.
