I have a 97 powerstroke and i bought a ts 6 pos chip, I installed it ya know cleaned the connections and all that but my truck wont start it just cranks and cranks any solutions?

take the chip out and see if it'll start, probly just a connection issue

I took the chip out and it starts fine, so bout has to be the connections

Thats good, means your PCM isn't fried. Is it just as standard TS chip? Where did you get it?

Ya its standard. I got it from advanced diesel it was on sale, I have an edge evolution but just wanted to be able to change my settings without going through all that bs that the programmer has.

might be why it was on sale, defective. id send it back and have em send you another one.
