I'm looking at beans diesel 1.00 AR exaust housing, its only $155 dollars or so. dunno how it would do with stock injectors. so you decided to powerstroke that F350? sounds like a cool project.

hell ya, just keep everything with a coat of paint or wd 40 and the rust shouldnt come back, we have mag chloride on the roads and makes nasty corrosion here in CO. you should try to put up some progress pictures of that project!!

Good thread Erik! So I have a question on this matter.

Over at the ORG, most people are saying the 1.0 is a terrible idea even if you DONT plan to upgrade sticks.. they say it will cause poor egt's and will kill the top end. There are 2-3 guys over there tho in other threads saying that the 1.0 exhaust housing is amazing, even with stage 1s. I've even heard the 1.0 is a good upgrade for the super duty guys.

So whats the deal? If all I'm doing is intake/exhaust/tune/swamps idm and a VB, would a 1.0 housing be good? I do occasional heavy towing, a good chunk of back-roads/hilly driving, a lot of city driving...

What are "sticks"?

If i was only stock I would do it, as it will spool better on the bottom end. In the SD it is an upgrade because the stock housing is a .84

Injectors.

So you think with only the mods that I have listed that a 1.0 is a good idea? You dont think I'll lose any topend power?

Leave the stock turbo alone. No reason what so ever to mess with the stock turbo on an OBS. If your wanting more, then go with a T4 or T4i mid frame turbo.

Yes powerstroke injectors look crazy

Joe, why do you say to leave the stock turbo alone?
