Edge evolution ????
Oh, you are very much entitled to your opinion and I'm not going to dispute any of the remarks made.
I was simply curious....nothing more.
The majority of the problems from the Edge Evolutions stem from the 95-97 trucks. In recent years, the PCMs become less forgiving with high-speed communication speed mismatches, and yes, it will disable the truck until the PCM can be reflashed by the dealer. Be aware though that it is not simply a problem with Edge, but all flash programmers. It's not an issue on the newer 7.3L trucks...yet...but once the clock speed starts drifting as the electronics age some more, expect flash programmers of any brand to start causing more problems.

if you want an edge buy one cheap, then send it to php to have them reprogram it for you,or just order a 6 pos chip from php and be done with it.
i personally wont own edge products one is my own reason, and two i have heard many horror stories about them, but mainly reason 1

IMO having installed two edge evo's on 7.3s, then installing TS chips on different ones, the ts ones were quick with same mods and were smoother, might have been the trucks but not sure, just my opinion
yea like CSIPSD said, pay attention to your gauges, but I'm gonna go with the TS 6position chip, just bcuz i've known of two or more guys with edge juice programmers with blown motors, probably due to high egt. I think edge is overrated
