Default downpipe ?

just wondering my dad has a 96 powerstroke wonder if he changes the downpipe will help anything cause it pulls 10000 lbs everyday

Lord, yes! I don't know if you've seen a stock 7.3 down pipe. It can be a challenge fitting a new one in. But, if you're going to that you might as well do the whole exhaust.

Before you do anything to a OBS powerstroke change the down pipe at least! Its the biggest POS you can imagine...

i got the diamond eye 3 inch, its a two peice and was a breeze to slip in was just a pain to get the old one out

the diamond eye bolts right up to the stock flange on the cat so you can run with stock exhaust i did that like 3 months before i did my exhaust was still a huge difference

the dp was the very first thing i modded on my obs, noticed better pickup, and fuel economy, but i did the whole exhaust at the same time

times 100 on it being the biggest pos you can imagine
