Default help with pulling need more power on take off

i have a friend with a 7.3 powerstroke he says once he gets it rollin while pullin its ok but it takes a while to get it there,anybody got any quick info for a little more spunk on take off

a chip will help a bunch but it all depends on how much money you want to spend.

i will tell him about the chip he dont really want a hot rod just wants it to pull a bit better on take off,thanks for the info

if you get a good custom tuned chip like a wildman or swamps it will wake the truck up quite abit

I just bought a ts chip and i pull a 34 foot gooseneck horse trailer. I hope it to come in today cuz i have 2 pull tom. I will update if all goes well and get it in and on before the pull.

Ok so chip on and been driving for a few days. WOW. But i do say a serious upgrade in the exhaust would and will be done. Along with gauges (a must anyway) to keep a eye on my stuff. good luck.

one thing he should look into is getting 410 gear ratio
