I think 6.0 is VVT. anything's possible, but its nothing near bolt on.

There was a aftermarket company doing it a while back, I read about it I diesel power mag, they did it on two trucks one was around a 97 year and the other was a 99 or newer. It didn't say really how to do it but it did say they were useing some sort of stand alone computer to control the vains.

why not just upgrade the turbo? you'll probably pay less for a turbo kit than you will for the 6.0 turbo then the standalone computer control system. I know alot of guys use 6.0 intercoolers on 7.3's but not turbos

yeah it would probubly be cheaper to just upgrade but i think its a pretty sick idea myself and if he can get it to work i would think about doing it myself. and my freinds truck is the same as mine. 96 powerstroke.

its just i have no idea how you would hook all that stuff up like the wires and comp. im no good with wires and crap ,but the turbo i could take care of for him.

this is becoming a thing that i want to do as well so if anyone has any ideas on how to do so i would greatly appreciate it

Its not a huge chalange to install the turbo, but take a look at the issues that the 6.0VGT has before you go and swap one in... You would be money ahead and time, hell even HP with a drop in GTP-38R...

Or better yet a Modded H2e...
