Default how many miles are to many

OK, I just bought a 97 f350 it has 283xxx miles. I plan on pulling the engine for my 94 f250. My 94 has a h2e turbo from hypermax intercooler, computer, and I think injectors. Don't know the HP ratings with all the stuff, but. Will my 283xxx mile engine be ok with this stuff?

Haven't run a compression check yet, but it has almost no blow by. I know the engine that's in my 94 now is bad due to it being a hot shot truck with someone who dissent know how to read the guages, the pyrometer is in the manifold right after the # 8 cylinder and it gets to 900 really quick, I think its because of the hole in the piston but not sure till I tear it down. How many miles can you get out of a 7.3 with good maintenance?

Next question is, where can I take my turbo to be rebuilt, and test my injectors? Both of those trucks are factory builds?

How much boost will the factory head bolt and gaskets hold?

mine will boost to 42 if I have her cranked all the way up. It has held for about 4 years. I generally dont drive like that and its possible I've just been lucky. My sister used to date a cinematographer, every one knew he was really a pornographer.

I bought a 1997 E350 Shuttle Bus (handicap body) with 369K on it. I pulled the motor (swapping into a Dodge), and I'm doing the bearings right now because... well, it has 369K on it and it's out. Bearings were very worn when I pulled them, but not knocking. The rings on mine are so strong I have to struggle to pull against closed valves to re-seat the rod bearings. These PSDs are strong and durable. I'd do bearings while it was out. I was skeptical about doing it, but rolsmohave3 convinced me to.

Have they been rebuilt at all? What about bearings? Rings/Pistons?
