Default mechanic says weak injectors???

95, 2wd dually, 5sp. 235k or something or another miles. never replaced injectors, truck is getting the same mpg it always has, has the same power it always has, may smoke slightly more but everything else seems the same. oil analyis is same too. we took it to the shop that does my injector work and they put a computer of some sort on it and said all 8 injectors are weak and need replaced! what do you guys think? i just can't see replacing something that aint broke! my driver said that he noticed once or twice when pulling a hill it would hesitate a little bit, so i'm thinking this may be the cause but not into soaking that money into it if it will last longer. btw, we put 2500-3000 miles a week on this rig and tow 100% of the time. thanks for the opinions ahead of time!!!!!

No need to replace them unless something wrong. One thing I have seen on those trucks that thought an injector may be going bad, is new o-rings on the injectors. With that many miles, an intermittent miss every once in awhile probably be the valve cover gasket

LOL... I would LOVE... LOVE to find out what "test" your "injector" shop did that could result in them telling you your injectors are "weak"...

total bullshit trying to sell you something you do not need.

yeah, i was not there to see what they did, the guy that drives the truck was there. they told us they could take them out and get them actually tested 1 by 1 which would be a 3 day turnaround (which we cant afford in our business) or just replace them in 1 day. they are a reputable shop that i've known for years and grew up with the owner. i really don't think they are just trying to sell me injectors. i did the whole valve cover harness about 1 year ago (100k ago) too.

Injectors don't get "weak"...

They work, or they don't.

Check HPO pressures and duty cycle when driving, under load preferably.

Compression check if you think it may be down on compression.
