Default Looking for a chip or something

I have a 96 F250 7.3 Turbo diesel with no mods. I am looking for a chip or something a little inexpensive and quick to hop this up a little bit more for towing. I am only towing around 6500LBS(race car and trailer). I had an edge evolution until tonight. I was told to pitch it in the trash by the ford diesel mechanic that came out here. My truck started doing stupid crap this past week and yesterday it finally took a ****. It was the PCM and he believes the Edge Evolution caused it. So I have another PCM in there now and I aint taking any chances with the Edge now. Any ideas would be great. Looking for something to go get or order ASAP.

I'm pretty new to this.. my truck is pretty much stock as well. From what I've read on here, go with a set of Stage 1 injectors, a TS 6 position chip, and a nice big air filter like the Napa 6637.

ts are cheap and work pretty well in a stock truck.
i would look into a down pipe and exhaust and the 6637 is cheap too.

Does anybody actually realize that this thread was five months old? You're more than likely not going to get a response from the Original poster who probably never comes here anymore....

First this thread is way way old.

Second the superchips is mediocre at best for the powerstoke.

Third, never listen to the powerstroke help guy. He is an idiot and knows very little about what he talks about.
