If you don't have any luck in this section, let somebody on staff know and we can move this to the suspension section of the sight for more visibility.

it will be pointless on a TTB setup. on a solid axle it will work but all depends on the style of 4 link you are making. a triangulated 4 link will not work on the street. you wont be able to turn. now a 4 link with a panhard bar( like what dodge uses) will work. but this is only with the solid axle. the TTB axle is just junk.

Why would you say it's pointless have you seen a military humvee, that's not a solid front axle and it works great and between here And oilburners I've seen people who put the care needed into these front ends and love them

yea the humvee is also a true IFS setup. the arms dont run backwards like a 4 link.

and yea the guys at oilburners do like their d50's for some unknown reason.

one thing you could do it convert it to raduis arm style. like in the f150's of the same era. then put in a coil or coilover. but the issue is the way the suspension piviots, a 4 link wont work well in my mind.
